The LifeMine is compact, lightweight and affordable. On the left hand side is a filing system. It also stores doctor's business cards, medication and insurance cards.   On the right hand side, you prepare for emergency by recording your contact information, medical, surgical, family and social history, including a current list and running log of medications used over the years.

This is followed by the section on vital statistics that lays the groundwork for active participation in a healthy life. We explain what to monitor and provide a place for recording and following progress.

We encourage people to prepare and prevent. Discussing the following topics:
• Routine vision care, dental care, and medical evaluation.
• Preparation for severe acute illness and identifying the end of life issues are better served when addressed in advance of some crisis.
• Guidance and encouragement for satisfying and efficient encounters with their health insurance provider.
